Q. Where is the practice located?
A. Janus Therapy Services is primarily online. We use a HIPPA compliant video system. The system allows your information to remain private.
Q: Is therapy right for me?
A: Good question! and if you are on this page, chances are you have already considered it as an option, and may be weighing the pros/cons of joining. I can tell you, therapy is a personal journey, and often when members join, they get immediate relief, and continue to build upon that throughout the process.
Q. I have insurance, can I use it?
A. It isn’t a problem if you have insurance. Even though the practice is private pay, we can create an invoice that lists the services, and you can turn this into the insurance. Then you can get paid back by the insurance company. We also accept Health Savings Account (HSA) payments.
Q: How are services billed?
A: We do a monthly subscription. At the same time, there are options to split that into weekly, bi-weekly, or if you would like only single sessions we have that available too. Check out the service tab for more information.
Q: How much are the services and can I afford it?
A: We have a variety of membership options available. Our prices are competitive with the general market. Also, the transparency in our prices are a reflection of the company’s values.

Q: How long is an appointment?
A: The length of the appointment is between 30-60 minutes. The difference depends on membership selection as well as clinical needs. We ask that members are online and video ready 5-10 minutes in advance.
Q: How long should I expect to be in therapy?
A: There isn’t a defined time really, because it is based off your personal needs. General guidelines are set by your personal goals in working with your therapist.
Q: Will people know I am in therapy?
A: No, no one is privy to your involvement in therapy. We maintain confidentiality and do not share information. The exception to this is in relation to safety or upon your request to share information.
Q: What if I need help outside of my session?
A: Members can always ask for an additional session, please feel free to send an email with the request. Emails are responded to regularly.
